Given the talent this season in AU Pro Basketball, the efforts on display in Nashville are no surprise. The leaderboard is reflective of the competition, as records seem to be broken every game. Games Nine and 10 were offense and defense prowess on display. Games 11 and 12 saw players scoring often. That being said, here is a recap of the final pair of doubleheaders in Season Four.
Game Nine: Maddy Was Not Too Shabby
Here, Maddy Siegrist and Team Orange faced Tyasha Harris and Team Purple as each team looked to move to 2-0 in the week. team Orange showed dominance early by winning the first quarter by a 26-10 score and would never look back. In this case, Siegrist’s squad swept all four quarters in a 101-79 win over team Harris. It was also a sweep in the MVPs of the game for team Siegrist.
Siegrist took home MVP 1 honors as she posted her seventh career double-double in her AU Pro Basketball career. She scored 35 points while grabbing 12 rebounds, going 68.2 % from the field. MVP 2 honors went to guard Odyssey Sims as she put up her third career triple-double in AU Pro Basketball. Sims had 20 points, 10 boards, and 12 assists while eclipsing 20,000 career leaderboard points.

Lastly, forward Isabelle Harrison won MVP 3 honors with her 36th career game with 10+ points, scoring 22. Also, she reached 300 rebounds in her career in the game.
Three players for Team Purple reached double-digits in points. Guards Lexie Brown and Rebecca Harris scored 19 and 17 points, respectively as center Elizabeth Williams scored 14 on seven of 10 shooting from the field.
Game 10: A Stellar Game in AU Pro Basketball
All things considered, Team Blue, led by Kia Nurse, versus Team Gold, led by Crystal Bradford, was exciting from start to finish. Each team won two quarters as the game was tied 71-all with 33 seconds remaining with a three-pointer by guard Kierstan Bell of Team Blue. However, Team Bradford took the with 13 seconds on a layup by Bria Hartley, winning by a 73-71 score.
Hartley was the MVP 1 as she scored 21 points, her first-ever 20+ point game in AU Pro Basketball. Bradford put up another double-double en route to MVP 2 honors with 23 points and 15 rebounds. It’s double-double No. 11 for her all-time in her time in the league. Despite the loss for Team Harris, Bell was the MVP 3 as she scored a team-high 17 points.

Nurse added 14 points with nine boards, Alissa Pili scored 12 and guards Sydney Colson and Shey Peddy added 10 points apiece for Team Blue.
Game 11: A Purple Haze Of Offense
Team Purple was in search of their second win of this while Team Blue was looking to notch win No. 1. Harris and the Purple squad won all but the third quarter, winning by a score of 93-73. T. Harris would get MVP 1 honors as she scored 21 points, going four of six from three-point range. Brown would garner MVP 2 honors and her 30th game with double-digit points with 18.
Finally, Williams scored 12 points and nine boards as she won MVP 3 honors. Additionally, R. Harris scored 12 points as guard Taylor Mikesell added 10 points in 12 minutes of action and forward Theresa Plaisance grabbed boards for team Purple.

For Team Blue, Nurse led the way in scoring with 18 points along with eight rebounds, and seven assists as Colson added 11 points. Three other players had 10 points, including guard Evina Westbrook, who had a double-double with 10 points and 11 boards. It marked her first career AU Pro Basketball game with 10+ boards. Peddy and Bell were the other two players reaching the 10-point plateau in the game.
Game 12: Nashville Became Sims World
In the final game of Week Two, Team Siegrist looked to finish with a 3-0 record while Bradford’s team was seeking a 2-1 mark. All in all, it was a long night at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium for the Gold squad as Siegrist and Team Orange won three of the four quarters. Team Orange concluded the week undefeated as they won 96-86 over Team Gold. MVPs 1 and 2 were Sims and Siegrist, respectively, combining for 66 of the team’s 96 total points.
Sims scored just the eighth 40-point game in the four season history of AU Pro Basketball with 41 points. guard had seven steals, which is tied for the most in a game in league history. Siegrist scored 25 points as she reached double-digit points in all 18 of her games while earning MVP honors in every game she’s played this season. MVP 3 honors went to Hartley of Team Gold as she scored 20+ points for the second time with 23 points.

Maya Caldwell scored 13 points with seven boards for Team Blue as Bradford had a double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds for her team. Also, guard Jaylyn Sherrod scored 13 points with forward Desi Rae-Young scoring 10 points for Team Gold.
Week Three Captains
The adage of “the more things change, the more they stay he same” applies when looking at the captains for Week Three. Two of the four captains, Harrison and Siegrist, have been at the helm in previous weeks while Sims and Caldwell will be in charge for the first time this season.
Sims will led team Gold thanks to her 180 first-place MVP points. Siegrist will lead team Orange once again as she had 180 MVP points and trails Sims by 476 points on the leaderboard. Harrison will be the leader of Team Blue while Caldwell leads Team Purple in Week Three.
