An Exquisite Start of Athletes Unlimited Softball

By all means, Season Three of Athletes Unlimited Softball has been fun to watch thus far. As we enter the midway point of the season, it’s becoming crunch time for these talented players. In this case, the games are becoming increasingly important as games thirteen and fourteen prove to be. So, without further ado, let’s dive into games thirteen and fourteen of Athletes Unlimited Softball Season Three.

Game Thirteen: Team Jaquish had the right “tools” to defeat Team McCleney 7-2

All things considered, pitcher Danielle O’Toole has been phenomenal this season in the circle. The lefty went the distance for Sahvanna Jaquish’s squad, allowing two runs on six hits while striking out two against Haylie McCleney’s team. Furthermore, the lone two runs she allowed came in the first inning with RBIs from Amanda Lorenz and Sierra Romero.

Also, she became the sixth pitcher to have two consecutive, complete games in Athletes Unlimited Softball. Without question, O’Toole was the MVP 1 for her outstanding performance.

The offense for Jaquish’s team started in inning number four as DJ Sanders slammed a two-run to tie the game. Sanders was the game’s MVP 3 for her efforts. However, they scored five in the seventh to seal the victory over McCleney’s squad.

First, Jaquish hit a three-run homer to left field as Kelsey Harshman and Tori Vidales each had an RBI. Jaquish took home MVP 2 honors for her three-RBI game.

Game Fourteen: Team Chidester “fisches” out a 4-2 win over Team Mulipola

As pitching took center stage in game thirteen with O’Toole, it was the bat of Sam Fischer in game fourteen. That is to say, Fischer’s power was front and center, hitting home runs in the second and sixth innings. It’s important to note that the scoreboard in the right-center field might need to be fixed, thanks to Fischer. Unquestionably, the infielder was the MVP 1 of the game thanks to her multiple moonshots, getting three RBIs.

Significantly, Fischer’s second homer in the sixth inning was the 200th all-time home run hit in Athletes Unlimited Softball history. Also, the other run for Amanda Chidester’s team was scored by Erika Piancastelli.

Once again, we get a great game in the circle as Alyssa Denham allowed one hit and a strikeout in three innings of work. The righter garnered MVP 2 of the game. In a losing effort, Dejah Muliopla homered in the first inning for her team and Hannah Flippen scored on a throwing error in the third. In addition, Aliyah Andrews was the MVP 3, going a perfect three-for-three at the plate.
