Athletes Unlimited Basketball Announces Stacked Roster For Upcoming Season

As Season Four of Athletes Unlimited Basketball approaches from Nashville, the 40-player roster brings plenty of experience from the WNBA and fan favorites of Athletes Unlimited Basketball. First, three-time WNBA champion Alysha Clark will compete in her season. Clark, currently a member of the Las Vegas Aces, will make her return to the state of Tennessee. The forward played collegiately at Middle Tennessee State in Murfreesboro, almost an hour from Nashville.

Next, WNBA All-Star center-forward Elizabeth Williams will also make her Athletes Unlimited debut this upcoming season. Williams averaged 10 points and seven rebounds last season for the Chicago Sky. Los Angeles Sparks guard Kia Nurse is a new addition as she started 27 games for the Sparks in the 2024 WNBA season.

What’s more, fans of Athletes Unlimited Basketball will see some familiar faces in the Music City. Guard Odyssey Sims has played in every season and is a veteran of the league. She finished second on the leaderboard last season. Like Sims, Lexie Brown has participated in every season of the league and is the chairperson of the AU Pro Basketball Player Executive Committee. Brown has three top-10 finishes on the leaderboard, including a fourth-place finish in the 2022 season.

Guards Kierstan Bell and Sydney Colson will return for another season. Bell is entering season two while Colson is in her fourth season. It will be season three for forward Theresa Plaisance as she is a member of the AU Pro Basketball Player Executive Committee. The third overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft, guard Maddy Siegrist, will enter her second season of Athletes Unlimited Basketball.

New Faces of Athletes Unlimited Basketball for Season Four

Along with the veteran roster, some notable young first-timers will be in Nashville. Here, forward Allisa Pili of the Minnesota Lynx, guards Jordan Horston of the Seattle Storm, and Jaylyn Sherrod of the New York Liberty will make their first appearances.

Pili played in 22 games for the Lynx as she was the eighth overall pick in last year’s WNBA Draft out of the University of Utah. Horston, who played her college ball at the University of Tennessee, started 14 games for Seattle last season. Sherrod won a WNBA with the Liberty last season as she played in 10 games for them.

It’s important to note there are some more ties to Tennessee on the roster. Along with Horston, Chicago Sky forward Isabelle Harrison and former WNBA guard Meighan Simmons also played for the Lady Vols. Additionally, center Dorie Harrison, sister of Isabelle, played at Lipscomb University in Nashville.
