Athletes Unlimited Basketball Signs More Incredible Talent for 2023 Season

As the 2023 season of Athletes Unlimited Basketball is vastly approaching, the roster is set with great talent. What’s more, the season will give us some top players from the 2022 WNBA Draft class. First, guard Veronica Burton will make her debut in the 2023 season of Athletes Unlimited Basketball. Burton started six games in her WNBA rookie season for the Dallas Wings.

Next, Kierstan Bell, the 11th overall pick in last year’s draft, will showcase her talents following her rookie season in the WNBA. Bell started one game for the Las Vegas Aces. Lastly, forward Mya Hollingshed will make her appearance in 2023. Hollingshed was also selected by the Aces in the 2022 draft but was waived by the team that May.

Theresa Plaisance finished her ninth season in the WNBA, winning a championship with the Aces as Bell did. She signed with the Seattle Storm this offseason. In addition, former Los Angeles Sparks forward Jasmine Walker will be bringing her skillset to Athletes Unlimited Basketball. Walker played in 32 games for the Sparks last season.

Lydia Rivers was a standout forward for Virginia Tech and previously at Radford University. Rivers averaged 6.4 points and 8.1 rebounds per game with Virginia Tech. Another college standout joining in 2023 is forward Hope Elam. Elam played collegiately at Indiana University, averaging 10.9 points and 4.5 rebounds per game with the Hoosiers. The Facilitators for Athletes Unlimited Basketball

Storm assistant coach Pokey Chatman and former WNBA player Danielle Viglione are returning for season two. Carlos Knox, Zak Buncik, and Seimone Augustus will join Chatman and Viglione as facilitators in their first season. Knox was recently the interim head coach for the Indiana Fever as Buncik is currently a player development coach with the Wings.

Augustus is arguably one of the best WNBA players of her era, winning four WNBA titles in her 16 seasons. She was the league MVP in 2011 as a member of the Minnesota Lynx and is the franchise’s leader in points (5,881) and minutes played (10,918).
