Without question, this year’s WWE Women’s Royal Rumble is hard in terms of what direction it can go. The elements of surprise entrants mixed in with the best superstars on the main roster add to the complexity of it all. Honestly, there’s a good chance a former Women’s Royal Rumble winner is the safe way to go. That being said, four superstars could win it and ensure their place at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
Charlotte Flair
All things considered, Charlotte Flair‘s resume ensures her place in the WWE Hall of Fame someday. She has amassed 14 championships as a seven-time SmackDown Women’s Champion, six-time Raw Women’s Champion, and Divas Champion. Additionally, she is a two-time NXT Champion, a Tag Team Champion with Asuka, and won the Women’s Royal Rumble in 2020. Flair has been off TV since tearing her ACL, MCL, and meniscus during a match with Asuka on SmackDown in December 2023.
After announcing her entry into this year’s Rumble match, Flair is viewed as a favorite given the opportunities. A win would give her the possibility to face Rhea Ripley once again at WrestleMania. Both squared off at WrestleMania 36 and 39, with Flair and Ripley winning, respectively. A third match between them would not be the worst thing.

Another route is Flair versus Tiffany Stratton, a match that sells itself. Here, Stratton is the face as Flair should be the heel and would be a match-of-the-night contender. Either way, Flair being a two-time Rumble is a strong possibility.
Bianca Belair
Like Flair, Bianca Belair is a Women’s Royal Rumble winner and multiple-time champion. The “EST of WWE” is a two-time WWE Women’s Champion as well as a Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion. Also, Belair has won tag team gold with Jade Cargill (more on her shortly) and Naomi. One match that fans would love to see is Belair vs. Ripley at WrestleMania. The pair have faced off at NXT and the NXT: Takeover in 2020.
However, there is the small matter of who attacked Cargill last November that needs a resolution sooner rather than later. Despite currently holding Tag Team gold, Belair might find herself main-eventing the Showcase of Immortals once again this April.
Becky Lynch
Removing my unbiased cap for a moment, I am a huge Becky Lynch fan. What’s more, WrestleMania would feel odd without her in it. A part of me feels the path is Lynch vs. Lyra Valkyria for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship for WrestleMania 41. Yet, the five-time WWE Women’s Champion could be out for revenge as she lost to Ripley at last year’s WrestleMania. No matter what, expect “The Man” to come around in Vegas in some capacity.
Liv Morgan
Looking at the career of Liv Morgan in her decade-plus time with WWE, it has been a journey. From being a part of the Riott Squad to becoming a two-time WWE Women’s Champion, Morgan is a star. Winning the Women’s Royal Rumble adds to her already impressive resume. She and Ripley have faced on numerous occasions, including at last year’s SummerSlam. It was here that Morgan defeated Ripley and retained her WWE Women’s Championship.

On the other side, Morgan and Stratton have gone one-on-one twice. There’s a chance that their third singles match could be at WrestleMania. The match would be simply amazing to watch for fans of both superstars.
…Just One More Thing
This might be a year where someone unexpectedly becomes a first-time winner. Two names come to mind: Roxanne Perez and Jordynne Grace. Perez has accomplished nearly everything at NXT: a two-time NXT Women’s Champion and NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion. She will be a permanent mainstay either on Raw or SmackDown very soon. Winning the Women’s Royal Rumble in her third appearance is a potential feat in itself.
Grace recently signed a multi-year deal with WWE and participated in the Rumble last year. While she says she will not be at the Rumble, I will have to see it to believe it.
