Unquestionably, Lash Legend stands out in the wrestling ring and even on the basketball court. Legend started her basketball career at Texas A&M before going to Mississippi State for her senior season. While at Texas A&M, she was an absolute force on the boards. Howard was the first player in Texas A&M history to have over 1,000 career rebounds with the school, getting 1,002 rebounds.
What’s more, she owns the school record for career rebounding average (9.8) and career double-doubles record (32). Important to note, that she set an NCAA Tournament record in her freshman season, snagging 27 rebounds in a game in 2016.

However, at Mississippi State, one might say she became a legend in her own right. In her senior season, the forward averaged double figures in 13 consecutive games with 19.5 points per game and 9.5 rebounds per game. In addition, she made first Team All-SEC and SEC All-Tournament Team. Needless to say, she had a phenomenal collegiate career and the next step was the WNBA.
Legend in the WNBA and WWE
Legend, whose real name is Anriel Howard, was drafted by the Seattle Storm in the second round of the WNBA in 2019. Although she had a stellar career in college, she played in just three games for the Storm. Overall, she averaged under two points a game and under a rebound per game.
A year later, she found herself in WWE after being signed to a developmental deal in December 2020.

She made her debut in September last year on NXT 2.0. Also, she has an eponymous talk show titled Lashing Out with Lash Legend. A big reason that Legend has the tools to make it is because of her athletic background and natural charisma. All things considered, there’s reason to believe that she’s a true legend in the making.
