The Phoenix Mercury, Chicago Sky, and Indiana Fever could agree to a three-team trade. Phoenix will get Diamond DeShields, Chicago Julie Allemand, and a 2023 draft pick, and Indiana gets Bria Hartley, Chicago, and Phoenix picks.

Three-Team Trade
Phoenix Mercury
DeShields is coming off a season where she averaged 11.3 points per game on 39% from the field. She was a member of the Sky’s championship team. However, DeShields has been dealing with injuries for the past two seasons and has not played well. DeShields was primed for an MVP season before heading into “The Bubble,” but injuries derailed her year.
The four-year veteran will add athleticism, scoring, and defense to the Mercury Roster. If healthy, DeShields could be a great addition. When healthy in 2019, she averaged 16.2 points per game and made the All-Star team.
Chicago Sky
Allemand did not play in the 2021 season, but in 2020 she had a successful rookie season. The point guard finished second in the assists per game with 5.8 and was named to the 2020 AP All-Rookie team. In addition, Allemand averaged 8.5 points per game and shot 45% from the field and 47% from beyond the arc.
If Allemand decides to play, she would be a good backup plan if the SKY does not sign Courtney Vandersloot. Allemand is a floor general type point guard that can also shoot the basketball.
Indiana Fever
Hartley played in just six games last year after returning from injury. She averaged 3.7 points per game. Before her injury in the 202 seasons, Hartley averaged 14.6 points per game off the bench for the Mercury.
Hartley, if healthy, can be an outstanding player for Indiana if she is used correctly. But you never know what the Fever going to do with their players. Hartley has been in the WNBA for eight years with the Washing Mystics, New York Liberty, and Phoenix Mercury.
