Without question, the Women’s Revolution in WWE back in July 2015 was a statement of the importance of women’s wrestling. More specifically, the women who paved the way in the company for the superstars you see today. One such woman is Michelle McCool, who was one of those women who paved the way. McCool was a two-time Divas Champion and the inaugural Divas Champion back in July 2008. In addition, she was a two-time WWE Woman’s Champion as well.
What’s more, McCool made history as the first superstar to win both the Divas and Women’s Championship in June 2008. She defeated Melina at The Bash pay-per-view to accomplish the feat. At the Night of Champions pay-per-view, McCool unified the Divas Championship and the Women’s Championship. She became the first-ever Unified Divas Champion that night.

The first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble took place in 2018 and McCool found herself as a competitor in the match. To that end, McCool made history again in that match and felt appropriate given her impact in WWE. With this in mind, she should be in the WWE Hall of Fame.
Why Michelle McCool Deserves to be in the Hall of Fame
In truth, there are a number of women who warrant a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame. However, McCool is at the top of that list. Her journey started as a finalist in the 2004 WWE Diva Search, reaching the apex of the women’s division. Equally important, she was one of the top heels of her era alongside fellow superstar Layla to form Lay-Cool.

Her motto was “Faith to fight the good fight, heart to believe and soul to search within.” All things considered, McCool lived up to that motto and more. Hopefully, we’ll see her take her rightful place in the Hall of Fame.
