All the scorings came in the first four innings of play as Team Mulipola, led by Dejah Mulipola, held on with a 5-4 win. Mulipola delivered a sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning. Next, infielder Aubrey Leach hit a home run in the second inning.

The final RBI was in the fourth inning from Aleshia OcasioCourtney Gano, and Caleigh Clifton. Leach had two hits while Gano added three for Mulipola’s squad. What’s more, former UCLA pitcher Megan Faraimo made her debut and struck out three batters in three-and-third innings.

Rachel Garcia’s team got off to a fast start with a homer from Haylie McCleney and an RBI double from Amanda Lorenz in the first inning. Also, Taylor Edwards provided Team Garcia with the other two RBIs via a home run in the fourth inning. It is important to note that both squads were 3-for-13 with runners on base.
