While there is much to debate in the world, most can agree that gymnast Simone Biles is greatness personified. Biles is competing in her third Olympic Games in Paris as she looks to add to her already historic career. She will have to push through this time as she reportedly injured her calf. Nonetheless, the Houston, Texas native will compete for Team USA in gymnastics.
Which Events will Biles Compete in?
First, Team USA finished atop the leaderboard in team gymnastics qualifying with a score of 172.296 as they look to get Gold, finishing with Silver in the 2020 Toyko Games. Biles and teammate Sunisa Lee will represent the United States in the uneven bars and balance beam finals. Also, Jade Carey and Biles will be in the finals for the U.S. in the vault and Jordan Chiles will join Biles in the floor exercise finals for Team USA.
Biles took home the Bronze in Toyko for the balance beam but got the Gold in the 2016 Games in Rio for floor and vault while getting Bronze on the beam.

If that wasn’t enough, Biles and Lee will be in the Olympic all-around competition. It’s important to note this marks the first time champions of the event from the same nation will compete in the same event. Lee is the defending champion as she took the Gold in Toyko while Biles won it in Rio back in 2016.
Biles will look to add to seven career medals in her Olympic career. With 30 World Championship medals, she is the most decorated in World Championship history and the most Gold medals with 23. Time will tell as to what we will witness from Biles and Team USA at the 33rd Olympiad in the City of Lights.
