The Talented Women’s Division On WWE NXT’s Halloween Havoc PLE

For fans of WWE and NXT, the Halloween Havoc PLE coming up as it will be one to watch. Here, the women’s matches on the card contain a title match (with a twist) and a tag team match with plenty of storylines. Let’s take a look at these matches in greater detail.

Kelani Jordan Vs. One Member of Fatal Influence (WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship)

For starters, Kelani Jordan has taken on all challengers for the WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship since winning the belt at NXT Battleground in June. She will have her toughest title to date as she will have no idea who her opponent will be (sort of). Thanks to the spin of the Halloween Havoc wheel, the match is Spinner’s Choice. This means that the Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Jazmyn Nix) will choose the type of match it will be.

Jordan is at a clear disadvantage here as nothing is off the table. However, there’s a chance the reigning Women’s North American Champion will face two, even all three members. The feud between Jordan and Fatal Influence has seen its share of violence, which is appropriate for the PLE. It could go either way, given the uncertainty surrounding the stipulation of the match. Here, can Jordan overcome the odds to retain, or will Fatal Influence reign as North American Champion?

Giulia & Stephanie Vaquer Vs. WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade

All things considered, this match is going to be one of the best on the card as all four women will be at the top of their game. First, the team of Giulia & Stephanie Vaquer are proven superstars who joined the NXT roster over the last two months. Giulia faced Chelsea Green in her first WWE match in September and later got a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship earlier this month. Yet, Roxanne Perez had some help from an old friend, Cora Jade, to retain her title.

Looking at Vaquer, she made her in-ring debut for NXT on October 15th, facing Wren Sinclair and getting the win. Following the match, Perez and Jade attacked Vaquer in the ring. In the end, Vaquer would get backup in the form of Giulia to even the odds. Both Vaquer and Giulia defeated Fatal Influence on the NXT go-home show ahead of Halloween Havoc. Despite being enemies, both superstars have common foes in the NXT Women’s Champion and Jade.

Perez and Jade Have History As A Tag Team

When looking at her current and illustrious title reign of Perez, she has proven time and again why she is at the top of the women’s division in NXT. At 201 days and counting, “The Prodigy” is the real deal as Perez has defeated the best of the best. Along with being a two-time, she and Jade held the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship. All in all, Perez’s resume is as long as her title reign.

For Jade, her return to the ring as she missed time due to suffering a torn ACL at an NXT live event back in January of this year. The journey to this point must make it all worthwhile to be back with Perez. But, it’s important to note that the aforementioned title reign lasted just two weeks as Jade tossed her title in the trash. Nonetheless, both are reunited as this women’s tag team match is sure to be one fans won’t soon forget.

Just One More Thing…

As this week’s episode of WWE NXT came to a close, we saw the debut of Zaria (formerly knowna s Delta), an Australian professional wrestling superstar.

With her addition, the women’s division is now even stronger as we’ll see when she’ll make her in-ring debut for the company.

Catch WWE NXT’s Halloween PLE on Sunday, October 27Th exclusively on Peacock.
