As yet another week passes in this bizarre modified season, it is time to take another look at the top 10 kicks spotted in IMG Academy this past week.
10. Mikiah Herbert Harrigan (Minnesota Lynx): Zoom Freak 1 ‘EYBL’
First up is former South Carolina Gamecock Mikiah Herbert Harrigan, in the Zoom Freak 1s. One of the more popular shoes in the bubble within the past few weeks making several appearances on our lists.
9. Amanda Zahui B. (New York Liberty) : Pride Pack X Adidas D. Rose 10s
Next up we have the Liberty’s Amanda Zahui B. rocking the pride edition of the Adidas D. Rose 10s landing in ninth place.
8. Joyner Holmes (New York Liberty) : Kobe 8 System+ ‘All Star-Extraterrestrials’
Zahui B. is followed by teammate Joyner Holmes in eighth with the eye-catching Kobe 8 System+ ‘All Star-Extraterrestrials”.
7. Sug Sutton (Washington Mystics) : Kobe 5 Proto “Kay Yow”
Former Texas Longhorn player Sug Sutton was spotted walking into the soundstage with a pair of Kobe 5 Proto “Kay Yow ” in tow earning a spot at number seven.
6. Kayla McBride (Las Vegas Aces) : 5x Champ X Nike Kobe Pronto
Kayla McBride, like many in the W, paid tribute to Kobe Bryant over the weekend in her Nike Kobe Prontos in Saturday’s game against the Storm.
5. Sugar Rodgers (Las Vegas Aces) : “Pine Green” Off-White Dunks
As always, Sugar Rodgers makes an appearance on the list landing in fifth place with her “Pine Green” Off-White Dunks with a top lacing very similar to Sheryl Swoopes’ signature Air Swoop collection.
4. Katie Lou Samuelson (Dallas Wings) : Purple Heart X Puma RS-Dreamers
Second-year Dallas Wings guard, Katie Lou Samuelson, stepped out in a pair of Purple Heart x Puma RS-Dreamers giving highlighter vibes in the best way possible coming in at number four.
3. Diamond DeShields (Chicago Sky) : Zoom Freak 2s
Diamond DeShields makes her second appearance in a row in the Zoom Freak 2’s, making her the first player to be seen rocking the second editions on the court since the release of the collection last September.
2. Kia Nurse (New York Liberty) : Custom Dunkaroo Inspired Jordan 34s
In the second place, we have Kia Nurse showing off a pair of custom Jordan 34’s inspired by one of her favorite 90’s snacks: Dunkaroos bringing back years of nostalgia for 90’s babies everywhere.
1. Sugar Rodgers (Las Vegas Aces) : LeBron Soldier 14s “Hare”
In #1 (again), we have Sugar Rodgers rocking the LeBron Soldier 14 Hares. It seems as if Rodgers may be coming for Sue Bird’s long-reigning title as the most stylish in the W both on and off the court.
