WNBA Champion Alysha Clark and More Joins Athletes Unlimited For 2025 Season

As the fourth season of Athletes Unlimited Basketball approaches, there will be some new faces in Nashville. One of those faces is forward Alysha Clark, a three-time WNBA champion. Clark finished her 12th season in the league and second with the Las Vegas Aces. She was drafted in the second round of the 2010 WNBA Draft by the San Antonio Silver Stars (now the Aces).

The forward was named to the WNBA All-Defensive Second Team in 2019 and All-Defensive First Team in 2020. She also led the league in 3-point field goal percentage in 2019 (.481) and 2020 (.522). Also, she won Sixth Player of the Year honors in 2023. All things considered, it will be a homecoming of sorts for Clark to participate in Athletes Unlimited Basketball.

She graduated from Mount Juliet High School in Wilson County, Tennessee. Additionally, she played collegially for two years at Belmont University in Nashville and Middle Tennessee State in Murfreesboro. While in college, Clark was a two-time Associated Press All-American and a two-time Atlantic Sun and Sun Belt Player of the Year. What’s more, she is Belmont’s and Middle Tennessee State WBB’s all-time points per game with 18.5 and 27.5, respectively.

Who Else Will Join Clark For Athletes Unlimited Basketball in 2025?

Besides Clark, forward Jordan Horston and Victaria Saxton along with guards Kia Nurse and Bria Hartley will be in Nashville next February. Firstly, Horston completed her second season in the WNBA with the Seattle Storm, who drafted her ninth overall in the 2023 Draft. She made the All-Rookie team in 2023.

Next, Saxton wrapped her second season in the W this year with the Indiana Fever, shooting over 33 percent from beyond the arc.

Nurse finished her sixth season in the league and first with the Los Angeles Sparks this year. She started 27 games for Los Angeles, averaging 7,6 points per game, shooting 79.3 percent from the charity stripe. Lastly, Hartley is a nine-year veteran of the W, last playing in the league back in 2022.

Overall, the additions of Clark, Horston, Saxton, Nurse, and Hartley will bring up the competition level even higher. Any of these players could be the champion of Athletes Unlimited Basketball in the Music City of Nashville.
