When it comes to WWE and the Premium Live Event (PLE) Money in the Bank (MITB), dreams come true by ascending a ladder and grabbing a briefcase. It is the Golden Ticket with a guaranteed opportunity to become a champion. History has shown that it is a lock as every winner of this match has gone on to cash in and win. That being said, the six superstars in this year’s field are looking to make their dreams come true. Here is a breakdown of those superstars.
Iyo Sky

Without question, Iyo Sky should be viewed as a favorite to win the briefcase as she did so last year and cashed in at SummerSlam to become WWE Women’s Champion. The former champion is looking to make history at the PLE and win it twice, joining Carmella on that list. Winning it might help Damage CTRL as a faction along with Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane. However, the question is can Sky do the impossible and control her destiny once again?
Chelsea Green

In this case, Chelsea Green is a joy to watch across WWE programming this year thanks to her character. Also, she is no slouch in the ring by winning the Women’s Tag Team Titles with Sonya Deville last year. Now, Green with Piper Niven has been great as they’re a force. Money in the Bank being in her native Canada seems like the stars aligning to win the briefcase.

Additionally, picturing her with the briefcase weekly is enough in itself while becoming a champion in the future is even more and well-deserved.
Lyra Valkyria

When it comes to Lyra Valkyria, she has been on the main roster of Raw since being drafted to the brand this year from NXT. Valkyria has shown that winning a championship on the main roster is definitely in the cards down the road. She beat arguably one of the greatest superstars in WWE history, Becky Lynch, last October for the NXT Women’s Championship. A win at MITB would elevate her to even greater heights.
Tiffany Stratton

When watching certain superstars, one knows rather quickly whether they have “it” and Tiffany Stratton fits that to a tee. The former NXT Women’s Champion has a new home on SmackDown where she looks to add a main roster championship to her resume. Like Valkyria, Stratton faced Lynch while in NXT but lost her championship to The Man. Nonetheless, it might be Tiffy Time if she gets that briefcase with a shot to confirm her stardom.
Naomi

Similar to Sky, Naomi has won a championship on the main roster as a two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion. What’s more, she is a veteran of the MITB ladder match, making her fourth appearance.

Naomi brings the experience needed to win and a potential storyline with Bayley, the current WWE Women’s Champion. Much can be said about her return but winning that briefcase is something that would be a game changer.
Zoey Stark

All things considered, Zoey Stark and her run on the main roster is a mixed bag. While working with WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus was a boost, she has yet to have a main roster title to her name. Given that, she is considered a dark horse to win this match. Stark and the briefcase have endless possibilities, giving her the chance to be that star. It will be interesting if her second appearance will be her time.
No matter who wins the Women’s MITB, it will change the course of their career.
